Green Glass
Green Glass in the UK started in 2000, within sight of the sea in Cornwall. The company has been developed in partnership with the South African originators of the idea.
All Green Glass glasses are manufactured in Cornwall, UK.
Bottles are sourced from whereever Green Glass can get them, even the local scout groups bring some along. The growth of local collection schemes and increased awareness about recycling means it is getting easier to find bottles – in the early days Green Glass occasionally had to resort to buying full bottles and drinking them…those were the days!
